2012 Topps is almost here!!!!
2012 Topps is just around the corner. I have created a page that is dedicated to 2012 Topps. Here you will find pictures, news, and anything related to 2012 Topps.
I've never been a set builder until I started back collecting in 2009. I went back to the 2008 design and started building the yearly set through this year. Now I'm on the fence with the 2012 set just around the corner. My hobby funds aren't what they used to be so I don't see the point in trying to build the set this year. Problem is I love opening packs and I know I'll buy more than my fair share of this stuff once it's released. So do I casually build the set after all or just try to quit cold turkey and stay away from the set?
I see myself eventually caving the first time I see the packs for sale @ Target! Thanks for the fan page by the way.
Please "like" my Facebook page. I plan on having some giveaways and contests if I am able to build a following. A lot of people every year want to wait until the factory sets come up to actually build their set. Why? Because it is easy since all the cards are there and relatively cheap because you don't have to buy a box or more to complete your set. However, Topps knows this, which is why they always have some type of promotion or hook to lure you in. This year it is the Golden Giveaway promotion and it already has me hooked! If you are looking at going the cheapest route to set completion, wait for the factory sets. Or, if you want the most fun out of 2012 Topps and are able to spend a little more, then buying packs is the way to go. 16 days until the release date -- can't wait!
