I know it is still a long ways away but I was thinking about 2012 Topps. I wonder if they will continue the giveaway promotion for the third year in a row? If not, will they come up with something different? I'd like the fact that you can redeem codes for cards. However, I recently received some vintage cards from Topps and half of them were in poor shape. Staple holes, writing, and major creases should be unacceptable! Hopefully they can get better conditioned cards next year if they decide to do this promotion again. I wish Topps would cut down on the number of insert sets. I would much rather have a few quality inserts over quantity inserts any day! One insert set that I would like to see Topps do that I have not seen before is an insert set based on all 300 or so Hall of Fame members. I think it would be a great set to collect. I've had to research some people to see if they were in the Hall. By collecting this set, I could educate myself on the members of this most prestigious club. Of course, I wish there was a way to get all 660 players with a base card to sign theirs. That would be a neat set to collect! These are all just ideas. What do you want to see in 2012 Topps?
