2010 Topps Prime Football Checklist and Preview – An Initial Look

There is a brand new and exciting football product from Topps coming out next week called Topps Prime. This product has some of the nicest looking cards I have ever seen. The photography is superb and each card is made on slick 36 point stock. For a checklist of this product, click here: 2010 Topps Prime Football Checklist

Here is a breakdown of the highlights of this product:

Each 10-Count Hobby Box will yield four serially numbered cards

As a hobby exclusive, there will be numbered rookie base and parallel cards

There will be four levels of insert cards and there will 150 different base cards in this set.

There will be a lot of relics and autograph cards in this product as well. Here is the breakdown of those:

Autograph relic cards -- there will be one autographed card with at least four pieces of relics per box!

Prime relic cards - These will be exciting cards with five levels of multiple relic cards featuring 4,5 or 6 different uniform/equipment relics in combinations such as: wristband, glove, football, home/away jersey on each numbered card!
Prime Levels 1-4 spotlight thirty 2010 NFL Rookies each on a single card while Prime Level 5 highlights Rookies and Veterans.

Autographed Rookie cards - 1 per box:

Autographed Rookies - 50 of the most promising 2010 Rookies along with their signatures on cards sequentially numbered.

Autographed Rookies Gold - Numbered to 25.

Autographed Rookies Prime - 1 of 1 Hobby Only

Relic cards - 2 per box:

Prime Rookie Relics - 35 top rookies with a relic and numbered to only 499.

Combo Relics - 3 levels of popular Combo relic cards with 2, 3, or 4 rookies, veterans and rookies/veteran players showcasing 2, 3, or 4 relic pieces on each numbered card.

All relic cards are paralleled:

Gold relics - numbered to 25

Prime patch relics - 1 of 1 Hobby only

Overall, this product should be a hit with collectors. The packs should sell for about $10 each and I personally can not wait to see these cards. I'll try to post a box break soon so stay tuned.
